Dr. Moradkhani joined the CEE Department in the fall of 2006. He will teach undergraduate courses including Fluid Mechanics, Hydraulics/Water Resources Engineering, Surface Water Hydrology and Remote Sensing, Advanced Methods in Analysis of Hydrologic Systems.
Dr. Moradkhani's research interests are in Hydrologic and Hydraulic Modeling, Development and Application of Simulation/Optimization Methods and Ensemble Inference in Operational Forecasting, Impact Assessment of Climate Change and Variability on Surface Water Hydrology and Integrated Water Resources Management, Uncertainty Assessment in Simulating the Hydrologic and Hydraulic Systems, Model Calibration and Data Assimilation in Distributed Hydrologic Models, Use of GIS and Remote Sensing in Hydrology and Intelligent Data Analysis in Hydrometeorology.+
