Dr. Lall’s research interests include transportation operations using video-imaging technologies, intelligent transportation systems, capacity of transportation facilities, and access management. He teaches courses including Transportation Systems, Access Management, Geometric Design of Transportation Facilities, Traffic Engineering, and Highway Capacity for Design. Dr. Lall is the recipient of the Frank M. Masters Transportation Engineering Award, 1999, from the American Society of Civil Engineers. He is the co-author of a textbook entitled, Transportation Engineering, An Introduction published by Prentice Hall (Pearson Education, Inc.).
